  • Location: Deeside, with occasional travel to Bangor and Raglan
  • Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Holidays: 5.6 weeks per year
  • Salary: £30,000 per year starting

  • Outreach Rescue provides bespoke training courses for emergency services and industrial clients. Many of our courses are internally developed, with some approved by third-party accreditation bodies.

Your Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • ISO 9001 Management: Maintain and improve the QMS to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement across the businesses.
  • Product Documentation & Testing: Produce technical files for Abtech Safety products and attend test houses to witness product testing.
  • Process Compliance: Ensure manufacturing and training processes align with documented standards.
  • Goods Inspection: Inspect incoming materials, identifying and reporting non-conformance issues to suppliers.
  • Final Product Quality: Oversee finished goods inspections to uphold product standards.
  • Supplier Audits: Conduct audits of supplier processes to ensure they meet required quality standards.
  • Training Documentation: Ensure training and administrative processes at Outreach Rescue are documented under the QMS.
  • Accreditation Standards: Collaborate with third-party accreditation bodies to maintain compliance where applicable.
  • Internal Audits: Conduct internal audits to identify areas for improvement and maintain certification standards.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provide training to staff on quality systems and processes.
  • Support certification renewals and assist with external audits.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Liaise between manufacturing, training teams, and external bodies.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a quality management role (12 months), ideally within manufacturing or training environments.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 QMS and auditing processes (an auditing qualification or relevant experience is highly beneficial).
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) including Teams.
